Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney:How they Changed Animation and the Course of History
About Walt Disney
Walt Disney is one of the most celebrated artists of our time. Cartoonist, in their own way, are artists. But he was so much more than that. He was also a role model, a creative person and someone who changed history. Without him we would live in a world very different than one we live in today. He made many Disney movies, but he also inspired many others to make movies, books and other stuff that we have today. He created a new way of animation and got his ideas to people through the movies that he made. For example, he was against deforestation and the industrial revolution, so he made Bambi, a movie about a deer whose mom was killed and he had to live with other forest animals. Kids loved the movie and so did many parents, and they didn't even realize that most of them were now sharing his views. Walt Disney had made them feel how he felt, and we were unable to resist falling in love with our favorite deer. This is one of the things that made Disney such a good filmmaker.
"Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have the children's approach to life. They're people who don't give a hang what the Joneses do. You see them at Disneyland every time you go there. They are not afraid to be delighted with simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought - sometimes it isn't much, either."
